Griffith Skies

Here's another post from the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, this time looking towards a smoggy but still blue sky.

  2. The Griffith Observatory is a frequently used movie location. The 1955 James Dean film Rebel Without A Cause was partly filmed there, and dozens of movies since. Your photos picked out some of the dramatic architecture of this building. That stairway shot has great lines.

  11. I like the top image for its interesting graphic qualities: the clash of gentle curves and straight [diagonal and horizontal] lines. I imagine this image would look even more striking in B&W.
