Peak Moods (3) - Shining

I love it when the sun shines just on the top of Pikes Peak - it looks like it's floating in the sky.
Here's a wider view taken just a few minutes later.
It's another entry in my Peak Moods series for Skywatch Friday, taken from my front porch.

  5. I like how the clouds are all nestled up against the mountain, but the peak is still clearly visible!

  7. Ah, still snow topped? When I was in CO I attempted to include Pike's Peak in a watercolor, but never finished it, so I might ask you sometime of a shot more seen of the left side . Beautiful captures, as always!
